Beginning May 12, 2025, travelers entering Ecuador who have spent more than 10 days in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, or Brazil—even in transit—will be required to present the International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever.
This applies to all travelers, including Ecuadorian citizens returning from these countries. The vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before arrival and is valid for life. The certificate may be requested during boarding and again upon entry to Ecuador.

MetroCard sales will end after December 31, 2025. 

MetroCard will continue to be accepted into 2026. 

The easiest, most flexible way to pay your subway or bus fare is to Tap-and-Go with your contactless credit or debit card, smartphone, wearable  device, or OMNY card. Tap-and-Go and you'll only pay for the subway and  local bus rides you take up to a cap of $34 in a 7-day period, as long  as you use the same device or contactless card.

 The UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is a digital permission (Visa Waiver) required for foreign nationals traveling to the UK without a visa. It  costs £16, allows multiple entries for up to six months at a time over  two years, and applications can be made through the UK ETA app or the  government website. 

eTA is a required electronic travel  authorization for travelers visiting Canada for tourism, transit or  business visits under six months.

Travelers who fail to obtain an eTA may not be permitted into Canada  as well as may face fines imposed by the Canadian government. Travelers  are advised to apply as soon as possible.
