Global Group Travel is proud to support three incredible charities at this time —Care for Wild, the Kolisi Foundation, and Strong Minds—whose missions align with the values we hold dear on our tours. Care for Wild focuses on the rescue and rehabilitation of rhinos, while the Kolisi Foundation works to uplift underserved communities, and Strong Minds provides mental health support across Africa and around the world.

We also regularly review and select additional charities to support, ensuring they align with the spirit of our tours and create positive, lasting impact. By partnering with these organizations, we aim to foster meaningful change and contribute to causes that directly benefit the environments and communities we explore.

How we support

GGT donates to the listed charities by direct donation. We also offer groups or individuals the opportunity to support by bringing items to contribute to communities and sites, or any other way they would like.

CARE FOR WILD

Care for Wild is a rhino rescue organization focused on the rehabilitation and care of orphaned or injured rhinos. They provide 24/7 medical care, including specialized nutrition and trauma treatment. The organization works to reintroduce rhinos back into the wild once they are fully recovered. Through their efforts, Care for Wild aims to reduce rhino poaching and ensure the species’ survival for future generations.

Kolisi Foundation

Siya and Rachel Kolisi founded the Kolisi Foundation with a vision to change the stories of inequality in South Africa, to see thriving communities. We work alongside others, adding our story to the stories of communities and individuals who are changing the world. By “remembering the one, one by one, ” we will impact the nation.

Strong Minds org

Strong Minds is a nonprofit organization focused on improving mental health in low-income communities. They provide affordable, group-based talk therapy to individuals struggling with depression and other mental health issues. By training local facilitators, the organization empowers communities to address mental health challenges sustainably. Strong Minds aims to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and increase access to care for those in need.
