Our exciting Queensland netball tour is a fantastic opportunity for your Netball teams to be coached by leading Australian coaches. Learning new skills, competing in games against local teams and gain competitive experience to use once back on home courts. A non-stop programme of coaching, team tactics, leadership and netball related activities will ensure every player has a memorable and performance-improving experience in the Number One netball nation in the world.

EXPERT COACHING

With an exciting partnership with an iconic Australian netball coach & former Diamonds Captain Vicki Wilson - our touring groups are in excellent hands. When available, Vicki will lead the sessions herself, also adding valuable insights and opportunities for the touring coaches to learn and improve along with the athletes.

THEME PARKS

The Gold Coast is considered the premier Australian tourist destination located south of Brisbane on the east coast. It is home to several world class surfing spots, intracoastal waterways, and long pristine sandy beaches, overlooked by the beautiful rainforest mountains – the ‘green behind the gold’. Living up to its name, Gold Coast is a golden treasure with 61 klms of white sand beaches and world-famous theme parks such as Warner Bros Movie World, Seaworld, Dreamworld, Wet’N World to name a few.

Sample 10 day itinerary

Day 1:

Depart from your local airport and fly to Brisbane or Gold Coast, depending on flight availability. The transfer time from Brisbane airport to city centre is about 30mins, and Gold Coast is about 1.5hrs. Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide who will conduct our Welcome & Safety Meeting as well as give a brief orientation of the immediate area.

Days 2,3 & 4

Brisbane is a vibrant river city and home of the Suncorp Stadium where many of the Suncorp Superleague netball games are played. (If an opportunity arises to watch a game, we will take it!) Here in Brisbane, we will have the opportunity to do netball specific training with the netball legend Vicki Wilson, along with some other guest coaches. We will also organize games against local teams.

While in Brisbane we will take in this sights that Brisbane city and its surrounds offers, including the famous South Bank area, river cruise, Moreton Island, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Australia Zoo (optional).

Days 4-8

After our time in Brisbane we will head south to the Gold Coast, Australia’s favourite playground.

Here we will once again have plenty of netball training sessions and games against local competition.

During our time on the Gold Coast, we will also make sure we visit the world-famous white sand beaches of Surfers Paradise, shop in Pacific Fair, one of the biggest indoor /outdoor shopping areas in the southern hemisphere and visit some world-famous theme parks such as Warners Bros Movie World, Seaworld, Dreamworld. Not forgetting to include an evening at the Outback Spectacular Show and dinner – a journey to the outback of Australia.

Days 9-10

After a thoroughly amazing time of making new friends, learning new skills, playing some great Aussie netball, and exhausting ourselves at the theme parks, it will be time to say farewell until next time as you board the plane home.
